SolarGuide operates https://solarguide.co.za. We are an independent referral partner of Alumo. We provide solar information and introduce you to Alumo for a quote. We are not a solar installer, financier or warranty provider, and we are not owned by or a division of Alumo.
2. Our service
SolarGuide publishes guides and product information and lets you request a free, no-obligation quote. When you submit an enquiry, we pass your details to Alumo so they can contact you (see our Privacy Policy). All installation, financing, warranties, guarantees, NRS approvals and any Section 12B tax benefit are provided and fulfilled by Alumo, under Alumo’s own terms — not by SolarGuide.
3. Information and pricing is indicative
We work hard to keep our content accurate, but the guides, specifications and prices on this site are for general information only. All pricing is indicative, sourced from Alumo’s published catalogue, and is subject to a site assessment, credit approval and a final written quote from Alumo. Nothing on this site is a binding offer, and nothing here is financial, tax, legal or engineering advice — get professional advice for your specific situation.
4. Referral relationship and disclosure
SolarGuide may earn a referral fee from Alumo on completed installations that result from an introduction we make. This never adds to your cost and never changes our advice — we tell you this openly so you can make an informed decision.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information when you make an enquiry;
- Use the site lawfully and not attempt to disrupt, copy or misuse it;
- Make your own decision about any solar purchase, based on Alumo’s formal quote and your own circumstances.
6. Intellectual property
The content, design, guides and branding on this site are owned by SolarGuide or used with permission. You may read and share links to our content, but you may not republish, copy or resell it without our permission. Third-party names and logos (including Alumo and equipment brands) belong to their respective owners.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SolarGuide is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from reliance on its information, or from the products, services, workmanship, warranties or conduct of Alumo or any third party. Your contract for any solar system is with Alumo, and any claim relating to that system must be taken up with Alumo.
