What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They help the site work, remember your choices, and let us understand how the site is used. Some are essential; analytics can be opted out of at any time.
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These make the site work and remember your analytics preference. They do not track you and cannot be switched off through the site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, Ahrefs Web Analytics and PostHog to understand how visitors use the site, which guides are useful and where the quote journey can be improved. We run aggregate analytics under our legitimate interest in operating and improving SolarGuide. PostHog session replay starts only after you choose “Allow analytics and replay”; form inputs are masked and we do not send enquiry contents, phone numbers or email addresses as analytics event properties.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data to third parties.
Opting out
You can opt out of analytics at any time using the Cookie settings control in the site footer, block or delete cookies through your browser settings, turn on your browser's "Do Not Track", or install Google's official Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
More information
Cookies that involve your personal information are also covered by our Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
